Since I’ve been home and got mom and dad set up with new netbooks, I’ve also set them up a wireless network that they both seem to love. The one thing I find to be a little weird though is that when I’m sitting outside in the back yard, that I have a better Wi-Fi connection than I do when I’m actually in the living room of the house. It definitely makes sitting outside with the computer easy and on sunny days- it’s perfect. I may turn mom and diddy into techies yet.

Tick-Tock-Tick-Tock
About 5 minutes ago I mentioned to Marcel that I was getting ready to jump in the shower so that we could leave around noon for town. It was that moment that he said he was headed to the shower, so needless to say he got a dirty look from me.
I’ve been busy catching up on things this morning and he’s been sitting in the sunshine and goofing off on the computer. I’m slightly agitated with him, but I guess I’ll just have to chalk it up to him being a guy. Men-

Learning Something New
Now that mom and diddy are set up with their new computers (thank goodness) and the dinosaur computer is sitting in the corner waiting to have pictures moved, they are really excited about the fact that they have a network and they can transfer information from one computer to another. When I first set everything up- mom asked if she and diddy were going to need an it degree in order to make their way through the network, but they found out that it was much easier than they thought. I still have a couple of things to teach them, but I’m sure that they’ll be able to learn it without any problems.
