My brother and I were talking the other night and he told me that he’d stopped buying Girl Scout cookies. This little tidbit of information came after I told him that I’d bought my first five boxes in probably 15 years. He said that he knew better, since you can’t eat ‘just one’, so he stopped buying them all together.
I figured since it had been so long that it wouldn’t be a big deal for me. That was my frist mistake. In two days we’ve eaten two boxes in this household. I gave one box away, so that leaves two boxes. I’d love to be able to say that Marcel has been the one eating most of them, but I’d be lying- It’s me.
I have to agree that those Girl Scouts put something in those cookies to make us want more- more- more. As delicious as they are- I don’t think I’ll be buying any more.
I never by girl scout cookies for that same reason. Also if you buy from one friend’s child then you end up having to buy from all of them. You could go broke buying cookies you never wanted in the first place.
